The opening will be Funlab’s biggest venue yet, located just in Christchurch’s EntX complex, below HOYTS cinemas. Really bring out your competitive edge and get ready for some insane novelty golf courses, exciting arcade games, and eight lanes of tenpin bowling, completing the entertainment sector.

The philosophy behind this exciting crazy opening was nostalgia, and fun—a tribute to your childhood perhaps, or to bring your kids here— “From the gameplay to the ‘gram opportunities, we’re the best place to unleash your inner kid-ult”, says CEO of Funlab, Michael Schreiber. The decision to choose Christchurch as their next destination, seeing it blooming with growth and opportunity.

Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq is really the most accurate representation of a stunning yet crazy movie circus. Festooned with red velvet drapes, fairy lights, and carnival decorations all enveloped within upbeat music, the smell of fresh popcorn and candy floss. It is like an endless odyssey, Take the night away in Mario Kart, VR 5D screenings, classic claw machines….the choice is yours!

Holey Moley Golf Club, is perhaps one of the most well-known and adorned mini golf places not just in Auckland but all over the world in its other destinations, like Australia.

Now it is time for Christchurch to capture its funky, creative atmosphere—-with unique obstacles, courses, and exciting themes, it is really a chance for you to test out your golf skills. Some themes include Kid in a Candy Shop, Kong Live the King, The HMS Tetanic and more. It really makes you wonder who was the mastermind behind these innovative ideas.

Feeling hungry? Don’t worry, Funlab has got you covered! Experience these classic game day, arcade classics in the American-style diner with burgers, hotdogs, or loaded fries, they just hit the spot.

The bars are also stocked with an endless selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, with cocktail names and tastes just as adventurous as the games, like bubble gum flavours, the famous Rub a Dub Tub cocktail, reinvented to be served in a “bath-tub” with rubber duckies! Childhood classic? Yup.

So bring your friends, family, and dates along, because this will be a guaranteed hit. Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq and Holey Moley will be open on October 7th on Colombo Street, Christchurch! Reservations are now welcome.
