Did you know Cafe Van Gogh offers private dining?

The 100% vegan social enterprise restaurant offers private dining in their beautiful upstairs dining room, making it an ideal spot for Veganuary this month.

Perfect for a birthday dinner or catchup with your pals, Cafe Van Gogh’s private dining option can cater for parties of up to 30 people, and offer a selection of set menus.

Located on Brixton Road, Cafe Van Gogh is famous for cooking delicious, plant-based dishes using seasonal ingredients. Their menu changes every six-eight weeks, so be sure to keep an eye on their instagram page to see what’s cooking.

Whether you’re after lunch, dinner, or just fancy popping in for a coffee, there’s a cosy corner of the cafe waiting for you.

Cafe Van Gogh is a not for profit social enterprise. They’re a community interest company, which very basically means that their social purpose is stronger than their drive to make tonnes of cash. It’s important to them that they consider all of their business decisions, and make the right ethical choices, for the local community, the environment, the staff and for the customers.

Working in conjunction with Toucan Employment, a leading learning disability employment charity, Cafe Van Gogh runs a programme of on-the-job training for people with additional challenges in life, such as a learning disability or a mental health problem to provide them with the support and confidence to seek paid employment. They also provide paid employment opportunities to these delegates if the opportunity arises.

What’s more, Cafe Van Gogh also aspires to be zero waste and will not tolerate single use plastics, which means all of their takeaway containers and coffee cups are fully compostable. They recycle their food waste too; it’s all taken away to be composted rather than sent to landfill.
