Whether you’re more like Alice or the Mad Hatter, you will be in your element at Richmond Tea Rooms, where they serve up their award-winning Alice In Wonderland themed tea parties. If you’re just popping in for a cuppa and a scone, you should opt for the simple Alice afternoon tea which includes tea-infused scones with clotted cream and Tiptree preserve and pot of loose leaf tea.

For the full Richmond experience, you should book the wonderland Champagne afternoon tea with a great selection of finger sandwiches, mini quiche, a range of homemade cakes and treats, tea-infused sultana scones, a pot of loose leaf tea and a lovely glass of luxury Champagne. If you prefer something less traditional, go for the Tweedles afternoon tea which includes all the same food plus a portion of mini fish and chips and a homemade scotch egg. This option will definitely fill you up and will line your stomach if you fancy having a glass of Prosecco or 5.
