The Food Truck Collective has got Auckland corporate workers covered, bringing a lineup of underground food vendors to Britomart every Wednesday. They will also be operating during the summer school holidays, so no need to worry about missing out!

Located right in the centre of Britomart, Food Truck Wednesdays are the perfect excuse to take a break from your day job and go out to eat with friends and support small businesses. The best part about it is that you get some good food in you all while enjoying the sun for an hour or two. Plus, what’s better than a hump day outing to break up the week?
While rotating weekly, you can expect to catch the likes of
- Brooklyn Dogs, serving warm and fresh hotdogs with a gourmet twist by adding ingredients like sauerkraut, herbs, and relish.
- Butter Baby, bringing to you the sweetest home style baked goods. Their donut game is out of this world, serving flavours like mango cheesecake, s’mores, and many more.
- Hash N Smash, a loaded burger joint with killer tater tots, and even meaner burgers. This place is full of specialties, with a house-made vegetarian patty option, and a secret smash sauce.
- Double Dutch Fries, the home of the best dutch fries in New Zealand, only serving them fresh and hand cut. They’re vegan friendly, and coeliac safe, using mayo straight from the Netherlands to give you an immersive taste experience.
You can find Food Truck Wednesdays at Takutai Square in Britomart, operating from 11.30am until 2.00pm every Wednesday until the end of March!
