BrewDog Waterloo opening soon
BrewDog’s largest ever bar will be opening in London’s revamped Waterloo station this summer. The behemoth bar will be spread over two floors, covering 26,000 square feet – triple the size of the Outpost Tower Hill site!
Network Rail is giving one of London’s busiest stations a makeover, in an effort to improve the station environment, turning it from more than just a transport hub into a destination of its own – similar to what’s gone on at St Pancras International.
Part of this highly ambitious project will give birth to the UK’s biggest BrewDog site. At 26,500 square feet, the £8.5million development will have two floors, a “secret speakeasy” cocktail bar, its own on-site brewery, a Grind coffee shop, a bowling alley, a shuffleboard gaming area, a podcast studio, an ice cream van, and a slide suitable for adults between both floors.
BrewDog’s new opening will be a centrepiece for one of the country’s busiest train stations. BrewDog said it will be “an immersive hub of good times and great beer forming a centrepiece of the rejuvenated Waterloo Station in London.”
From a speakeasy-style cocktail bar and lounge showcasing BrewDog’s impressive spirit offerings, to a spacious outdoor terrace and even a not-for-profit florist selling flowers and potted plants!
A dedicated gaming area will allow Londoners to let out their competitive side. There will be a duckpin bowling alley, shuffle boards and that slide we mentioned to get between floors!
The food, meanwhile, is one we’re salivating over. BrewDog will be showcasing the best of its offerings, including infamous wings and burgers, as well as a food truck situated in the bar.
BrewDog Waterloo is set to serve the freshest beer in the capital thanks to its own on-site brewery. Customers will even get to tour it! From regular favourites to exclusive, one-off creations, the new venue will have it all.
Too early in the day for beer? BrewDog Waterloo will also be partnering with Grind – the hugely influential London coffee roaster – that will be opening its own coffee shop within BrewDog Waterloo from 7am daily.
Lastly, BrewDog Waterloo is also going to become the perfect location for freelancers and remote workers as it will be offering meeting rooms and extensive workspaces, as well as a podcast recording studio.
