After five long weeks in Alert Level 4, Auckland is taking the plunge into Alert Level 3 – which means takeaways. We're rounding up anywhere and everywhere providing your takeaways hit over the next couple of weeks so you can support local and enjoy some of the best food Auckland has to offer. <br>As always, remember to be kind and patient with all essential and service workers during this busy period.
Kiss Kiss is back with their Asian Fusion dishes for Level 3. Order online directly from their website and receive 15% off for the first week of Level 3! Noodle dishes, rice dishes, shared plates, and bao are all available for your takeaway hit. Order via their website.
Missed sushi as much as we did? Cocoro in Ponsonby will have their Nigiri Sushi Oke, Sashimi, and Sukiyaki available for contactless pick-up for an indulgent Japanese takeaway. Orders can be made by emailing [email protected] and all their details are over on their Instagram @cocoro_restaurant.
Wu & You are back with their Asian Fusion goodness this Level 3. The Mt Eden venue has redesigned their menu for takeaway and delivery, with a majority of the dishes you know and love. All the details for ordering will be available over on their Instagram @wuandyou.
Sumthin Dumplin will be providing your fix of dumplings in Level 3 with their beloved OG, Great White, and Premium Beef flavours to name a few. Their Lorne Street location will be taking website orders and phone orders on (09) 218 9084.
You can say goodbye to the homemade oven pizzas, Umu is back with their authentic wood-fired sourdough pizza in the heart of Kingsland. Order on their website for contactless pickup, available daily from 12pm.

Cotto on K’Road’s famous handmade pasta will be available for takeout come the first Friday of Level 3. Treat yourself to a spread of Cotto’s Italian cuisine in your own home. Orders can be placed from Friday 24th on their website.
Craving a real Mexican fiesta? Marina Cantina in Half Moon Bay has got your back this Level 3. Wednesday to Sundays you can pick up your favourite Mexican dishes by ordering straight from their site. Burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and loaded fries coming your way!
And right next door to Marina Cantina, you can pick up any classic Kiwi dishes you haven’t been able to recreate at home. Grangers Taphouse will have everything from burgers and fish and chips to sirloin steak and mussel fritters. Order via their website for click and collect.

Pasta e Cuore returns with their award-winning handmade pasta in Mt Eden Village. From 4pm daily, pick up your pasta, antipasti, and Italian desserts by placing your order via their website.

Get your vegan fix this Level 3 with Khu Khu’s Thai-inspired vegan-friendly menu. Kumara spring rolls, Thai green curry, and their drunken noodles are all available for contactless pick-up and delivery. Keep an eye on their Instagram @khukhueatery for all the ordering details.

Mt Eden’s favourite European deli is back for Level 3, offering Kebab Night hampers for click and collect on Friday + Saturday. The Cazdor Deli counter will be up and running daily for click and collect and delivery too, with a range of pastries, pies, charcuterie, and coffee. All details will be over on their site.
Giving up on trying your hand at homemade dumplings? We don’t blame you. Thankfully, The Gyoza Bar resumes service in Level 3. From 12pm daily you’ll be able to place your order via their website and enjoy gyoza, bowls, Japanese vegetables, and tapas at home.
Coffee and a pastry by the beach sound good? St Helier’s Bay Bistro will be dishing up your caffeine hit, with a side of sandwiches, pastries, burgers, fish and chips, and gelatos available too. Open from 7am daily, place your order in person with a mask and practicing social distancing.
Let’s face it – homemade fried chicken is just nowhere as good as the real deal. Peach’s Hot Chicken are open in Level 3, slinging their famous fried chicken burgers, cuts, and sides. From 8am to 2pm daily, get your dose of coffee, fresh sourdough, and selected cabinet items from Ozone Coffee on Westmoreland Street. Available from Saturday 25th, head down to Ozone to get your fix.
Yes, you can get a donut burger in Level 3. Sneaky Snacky on K Road (home of the glazed wagyu beef donut burger) is serving up their sweet and salty creations from Wednesday onwards. To place your order, give them a call on 0223040012. All the details are over on their Instagram @sneakysnacky.
Cantine’s legendary smash burgers are back for Level 3, albeit sold out for the first week already! Operating out of Bar Celeste, next week’s orders open up on Friday so get in quick for their smash burgers, garlic frites, and chocolate chip cookies. Craving some hearty comfort food meals? Millwater Bistro has you sorted in Level 3. With their easy ordering system you can get your hands on gourmet pizzas, sizeable burgers, prime sirloin, crispy calamari, and creamy cheesecake. Authentic pasta coming your way – Pici on K Road is up and running in Level 3, providing your hit of traditional Italian pasta done the right way. To treat yourself to some Pici pasta and wine (and cheesecake!) head to their online shop for pick up or delivery.
